I had the most wonderful experience at this spa! The space is serene, calm, and beautifully maintained. The massage was relaxing, and the sauna and shower area felt luxurious, refreshing, and private. I loved that drinks and snacks were available too, which made the visit feel extra special. It was a truly lovely space to unwind and take care of myself.

I had the most amazing experience at Alchemy Spa and Wellness today. It was the best massage I have ever had (and I’ve had a lot of massages). The sauna afterwards was a fantastic treat. The staff was so friendly and personable. Not a stuffy environment like many spas I’ve been too. Just wonderful service, friendly people and an overall exceptional experience!

You MUST visit Alchemy Spa and Wellness in the heart of Pepper Place in Birmingham. From the moment we walked into Alchemy Spa and Wellness, I knew my wife was in for something special. The atmosphere is serene, warm, and intentionally designed to help you leave the outside world behind. Every detail from the calming scents to the peaceful music sets the tone for deep relaxation. The massage itself was nothing short of amazing. Robbie McGiboney was incredibly intuitive, professional, and attentive, taking the time to understand exactly what my wife’s body needed. Each movement felt purposeful and healing, melting away tension she didn’t even realize she was holding. It wasn’t just a massage it was a full-body reset. If you’re looking for a spa experience that goes beyond the ordinary and leaves you feeling restored long after you walk out the door, Alchemy Spa and Wellness is an absolute must. I can’t wait to return next time in town.

Great experience! I was a walk-in and truly appreciated that they were able to accommodate me. Lucas was professional, attentive, and made me feel completely comfortable and relaxed. The atmosphere was calm and welcoming from start to finish. I’ll definitely be back!

As soon as I walked in to Alchemy Spa & Wellness, I was warmly welcomed by the sights, the scents and the incredible women who work there. I loved the smart sauna and beautiful shower, plus any day I get to walk around in a robe is a good day. When I made my way to Nanette’s massage table, I immediately felt immersed in care and luxury. The sheets were buttery soft, the music was soothing and Nanette is a master massage therapist. It was one of the best massages I’ve ever had and I can’t wait to go back. Grateful for such a wonderfully relaxing experience!

You feel the peace and calm when you walk in! The staff is above amazing and caring. I have been a client of the owner (Robbie McGiboney) for around 15 years, massage every other week. What a difference it makes in my overall health! I had my facial today with Jenny. It was amazing! Can't wait to pamper myself again! I highly recommend Alchemy Spa and Wellness for all you spa needs and pampering!

This place is special. From the warm greetings upon entering, to the calm of the surroundings, to the genuine connection each practitioner shows, it is a place to unwind. I had face waxing, massage (plus additional foot massage which was divine), and sauna. The place is well appointed, clean, and has a zen feel. The little touches are an added plus- choice of teas, choice of small snacks, electrolytes to add to your water. Everyone is warm and welcoming. I cannot wait to go back!

I’ve had massages from both Robbie & Shelley, and they are both incredibly talented therapists. The spa is beautiful, clean, and quiet. Excited to come back for a facial!

Had a great experience at Alchemy Spa & Wellness. I booked a facial & time in the sauna to start off the new year. I hadn't tried an infrared sauna before so I booked a 30 minute session to test it out. The sauna room was set up very nicely; it was completely private and had a shower immediately next door to hop in and rinse off afterward. Alchemy provided a robe, towels, and toiletries. The sauna was very clean. Overall the experience was very comfortable and relaxing. I booked a DermeLuxx facial with Emma Kate; she did an amazing job! The facial felt awesome; I loved the cooling oxygen treatment and blue light at the end. Emma Kate was great at answering my skin care questions and recommending products or approaches that would work well for my skin. The atmosphere in the facial room was also super relaxing, not clinical like other skin treatment places I've been to in the BHAM area. Also love the convenient location in Pepper Place. I will definitely be returning!

alchemy spa and wellness is beyond magical. the entire experience is wonderful from the moment you walk in, to the moment you leave. the spa is decorated in such a unique and calming way, the retail products are top tier, and all the massage therapist are extremely kind and professional. my personal massage therapist is Nanette, she walked me through the entire experience in such a calming manner. i have never felt as relaxed as i did whenever she was giving me a massage. she was able to target all of my problem areas beautifully and i walked away feeling renewed. afterwards i used the sauna, i highly recommend it to everyone! the sauna was adjustable, so you can choose between a warm comforting experience or a hardcore sweat session. the entire spa staff is excellent as well. definitely a perfect way to spend the day in birmingham.
